As part of our focus on ecosystems, Nollen Group supports a wide range of forestry carbon-based activities including indigenous reforestation, ecological restoration and avoided deforestation. Our projects are certified and verified through a combination of compliance and voluntary carbon regimes, including the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), among other standards.
Featured Project: Southern Coastal Cardamoms Conservation
The Southern Coastal Cardamoms Conservation (SCCC) project highlights Nollen Group Ecosystems’ focus on forest conservation and rehabilitation. For the SCCC, our team structured and financed both the Reductions Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD & REDD+) and Afforestation/Reforestation (A/R) aspects of the project in western Cambodia. Ultimately, we chose to pursue a voluntary carbon credit regime for the Emissions Reduction Purchase Agreement (ERPA).
