Prime Agri Energy Holdings was set up by a consortium of leading companies in the renewable energy sector to develop and invest in waste-to-biogas-to-energy projects across South East Asia.
The first project is a 1.56MWe biogas project based in Phayao province, Thailand using waste of a sweet corn processing plant as feedstock. The project will use the latest technology from Europe to anaerobically digest the waste to generate biogas and electricity, selling it into the national grid under Thailand’s Very Small Power Producer law, contributing to the country’s drive for energy independence as well as providing benefits for the local communities.
Nollen Group is a major shareholder in PAEH.
