Energy Efficiency

JBCogen

Co-generation and tri-generation solutions can greatly increase energy efficiencies, providing valuable by-products such as steam and cooling.

Traditional engines and turbines generate heat that is normally dissipated into the surrounding atmosphere.  Co-generation technologies cool that waste heat and release energy into a useful hot water or steam circuit.  The heat / steam produced can be used in many applications in industry, as well as to generate electricity.  Tri-generation technologies make use still of the cooled gases, such as to produce cooling via adsorption chillers.

These technologies, on a standalone basis or packaged with biogas and biomass systems, can significantly increase energy efficiency.
