Dairy

Nollen Group has signed a project to refurbish and upgrade an existing wastewater treatment plant at a dairy factory in Thailand at a subsidiary of a multinational food group.

The project will turn waste to energy using anaerobic digestion and provide the factory with a source of renewable energy for its boilers, reducing its fossil fuel consumption, as well as guarantee effluent standards to meet Thailand’s regulatory standards.

The project provides a win-win solution for the client by outsourcing a non-core utility, significantly improving the efficiency of the current wastewater treatment plant and reducing its fossil fuel consumption in a cost effective manner.
